A long relationship is so much like a dance, a dance with time. Rhythms are assimilated, moved to, each step growing more in tune with the music. Each partner sharing memories to create vistas of what was; what is yet to be.

Shared concerts, travels, meals, great and not so great. Friends much the same, the great, the terrible and the tolerable. Time calls the steps, and worn and wearied by time, we still dance. The steps might slow a bit. Yet become more intricate as you learn the others' moves.

But the music and the dance are totally your own, much as a childhood shared secret, a promise made under the moon, a belief that forever still lurks in your lovers eyes.

Time may frame a relationship, it can not dictate to it.

And so, picking my wife up today from the Hospital,

I found that simple act to be as timeless, as Romantic and as special as the first Kiss.

and in joy, the dance could continue.

Welcome home Baby

yeah yeah yeah! Covid,

Shots! Zenica, Moderna, J and J and That odd green stuff from questionable sources that doubles as Antifreeze in winter. That is not the issue here. The issue here is my time in the Garden.

I needed a watering can so went to the source of all things: the internet where I purchased one. It arrived, a bright cheerful blue plastic watering can proudly bearing the Sticker Made in the U.S.A. kinda cool; after all so was I.

I smiled in my Dotage remembering all the cool things made in the U.S.A.

Hudson Hornets, Studebakers, Oldsmobiles, Packards, Lasalles, the menacing Pontiacs of muscle car times ,and some of the lesser creations, the Vega, Pinto, Pacer, and the Gremlin.

But, in my youth, American Iron always dictated style and function,

As a kid I so wanted to take the wheel and roar off into untold adventures

Even in the old family Rambler Station wagon, adventure was just through the windshields. Magic was crafted in Detroit, Flint, Kenosha. American by Gosh and by Golly, just like my plastic watering can. Bright Blue with a White spout.

Feeling the immense pride in the Heritage of American industry ,from Gary Indiana to Pittsburgh, I filled my can and headed out into the garden...

It leaked.

so, still low profile even with the Vaccine well established somewhere deep inside. It is always fun to capture morning light from my small but extensive environment.

Be well, be wild, be weird, and above all, enjoy
